Chef de rang/sommelier in Luxembourg

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Reception and control of wine deliveries
  • Composition, organization and management of the cellar on a daily basis
  • Check on a daily basis the equipments, materials and wine bottles
  • After analysing the sales, conceive wine menu and create promotional operations
  • Conceive and update sales support
  • Chooses the right moment to present wine menu
  • Inform, advice the clients and take orders
  • Promote products to the clients and brief the other people of the team
  • Service with order
  • Insure the service then the operations at the end of the service

PROFILE AND NECESSARY SKILLS

  • Good appearance and masters the different codes of client relation
  • Good knowledge of techniques and rules of service
  • Team spirit
  • Endurance
  • Good memory and solid knowledge in oenology, you master the combinations of flavours
  • You know how to convince and satisfy all types of clients
  • Fluent in French, English, Luxembourgish or German required
