Main duties: Housekeeping & Reception

We are looking for an active and motivated person who likes to stay on their feet, with an eye for detail and a friendly work ethic. Until tourism resumes the main duties will be in housekeeping but with future possibility to take on more duties in the reception requiring organisational and planning skills for the housekeeping team. Assistance with basic renovations like painting and decorating are a plus. 

Housekeeping:

Cleaning

Keep track of detailed cleaning

Keep track of cleaning needs for a few days in advance

Laundry

Check trash bins outside and order pick-up 

Keep track of inventory

Reception:

Prepare arrivals

Experience with GoDo, Outlook, and Google Sheets is a plus.

Occasional daytime and overnight telephone duty.

Requirements:

Very good experience in housekeeping

Very good English in speech and writing, other languages are a plus

Must live nearby (101, 105, 108) in case of telephone duty response.

Icelandic work permit

Working hours: 08:00-16:30 - also regular weekend shifts.

Depending on the qualification will determine a part-time or full-time position. Starting as soon as possible.
