Job description:

I seek for a personal assistant who can help me with my daily activities based on the model of independent living.

I am a physically disabled man and a wheelchair user. Located in Reykjavik.

It is not required to have any past working experience with people with disabilities.

Qualifications:

The personal assistant needs to be trustworthy, broad-minded, positive, honest, reliable, flexible, friendly, responsible and can follow instructions easily.

Other information:

• The work will be conducted in accordance with the NPA special wage agreement of the trade union Efling.
• The personal assistant is required to have a clean criminal record
• Preferred age is approximately 25-50 years old. The age range is not exclusive
• Good English skills or good Icelandic skills are required
• Basic computer skills are preferable e.g. Word, Excel, and Power point
• A non-smoker is required
• Driving license is required
• The PA should be able to start Agust 2021
  

I‘m looking for an assistant that can work on day, evening, and night shifts, with a workload that would be approx. 80% for now, but goes to 100% employment rate with the fall. Available by arrangement.
