We are seeking a Hotel Manager at Fosshotel Mývatn.

Hotel manager prepares and manages the daily operations of the hotel incluHotel manager prepares and manages the daily operations of the hotel including reception, reservations, restaurant, housekeeping, property maintenance and human resources. Hotel manager works closely with the head office in sales and marketing and makes sure the hotel operates according to the company´s quality and operational standards. The hotel manager leads a large team of employees, is responsible for delivering operational profits while keeping the wellbeing of both guests and employee´s as the foundation.

Qualifications

• Successful managerial experience in hotels and/or restaurants.
• Education in the field of hotel management and/or education in food service or culinary arts is an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude and passion for quality service.
• Financial literacy and analytical skills
• Good system and computer skills. Cenium, Navision and H3 knowledge is an advantage.
