Kitchen assistan/Asian Cuisine

A South-Asian restaurant in Reykjavík, Iceland is seeking a kitchen assistant to start as soon as possible.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a kitchen assistance with good knowledge of experience in South-Asian cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a group.
- Applicants must be presentable and hygienic.
- English language skills are essential.
- Applicants must have a clean criminal record.
- Any courses and education in cooking is an advantage.

Compensation:
Wages are paid according to collective agreements in Iceland.
Housing is not provided.
